REDUCED: 1954 Topps Near Set (244/250) For Sale

I am putting up my 1954 Topps near set for sale. It's only missing six cards for completion. They are: #10 Jackie Robinson, #94 Ernie Banks, #103 Jim Lemon, #128 Hank Aaron, #201 Al Kaline and #250 Ted Williams. This set averages G-VG with some as high as EX and very few lower. Of the Hall of Famers, Duke Snider and Richie Ashburn are the worst with Duke having multiple creases and Richie Ashburn having a little writing and glue residue on the back. Yogi has a small pen mark on the back. Eight of the commons have small pen marks on the back. On the other end of the spectrum, Billy Martin, Ed Mathews and Whitey Ford are nice cards, each in approximately EX condition. You will find that most of the commons have good eye appeal and in the VG-VG/EX range. I have scanned all of the Hall of Famers and the first three cards of the set into my Photobucket. You can blow up the photos and examine the cards for yourself. If you wish to inspect any other cards, let me know and I will upload them. Each card will either be in a Card Saver 1 or in the case of the Hall of Famers, in a vintage sized Ultra Pro top loader with vintage sized penny sleeve. These will be shipped via USPS Priority mail, fully insured, and require signature confirmation. I will entertain meeting a buyer instead of shipping them, but I'd like to stay within 100 miles of St. Louis. I am asking $1250.00 Paypal. No "Friends and Family" please.
