Inspired by tedzan's Tuesday Trivia I have to ask: who was the Olympian before Thorpe that played baseball?

Guess this one was too obscure. His name was Cotton Minahan and he competed in the 1900 Olympics as a sprinter and then turned to baseball. He pitch 2 games for the Reds in 1907, plus 5 years in the minors.
