Wondering if the player in the back row in the road gray uniform is Harry Lumley as a minor league player, Colorado Springs Millionaires 1902? I did find the photo on another web site, I've lost where I saw it, that pointed out the gray uniform but did not name the player.

That's a great photo! I am thinking about writing/illustrating a story about Harry Swacina. He played for some of the best-named teams in the country:
Colorado Springs Millionaires Memphis Egyptians Peoria Distillers Rock Island Islanders New Orleans Pelicans Charleston Pals Decatur Commodores Baltimore Terrapins Mobile Sea Gulls and who can forget the Shreveport Gassers...! |

Thanks for the info Mark, I thought it was Lumley but had no idea about the others. I was searching for Lumley stuff which led me there, had no idea ole Colorado Springs was loaded! :-)
