There was a reason I said Roberts right off---My 1st ML game was in 1953 @ Ebbets Field and Jackie hit a lead-off HR in the 7th off Roberts to give the Dodgers a 1 run lead!

Richard,
No surprise Roberts shot you down for an auto. If you have not been turned down by him then you don't collect in person HOF autos!  The surprise to that trivia is he is by far and away the most by giving up 9 gophers to Jackie. The next pitcher in line only gave up 5 (Dave Koslo) to Jackie. Peace, Mike

Great trivia question.
Here is a bit of trivia that also involves Robin Roberts. Most baseball fans know that Eddie Mathews is the only player to play for the Braves franchise in all three cities they represented: Boston, Milwaulkee, and Atlanta but did you know that Roberts was the only opposing pitcher to record a win against the Braves in all three cities?
