Default Selling a partial set, best way to go about it

Hey guys I wanted to get some opinions and input on how to go about selling partial sets. So I have a 1934 Goudey set I've been working on now for a few years and I may end up parting ways with it to put the money into the house. Looking to redo a kitchen so you who have owned or own a house know how expensive that can get haha. I'm just looking at options and maybe parting ways with some cards I can buy back later on may be the best way to go bout it. Then I'm not having to dip so much into savings.

Anyway, The set is ranked 34 on PSA registry with a 4.968 weighted GPA. I've put a reasonable amount of money into it and i want to try to get most of my money back from the investment. So I am asking you what's the best way to go about?

1.break it up and sell them all individually
2.sell as a partial set

The second part of this is sell it on my own or go through a auction house? I think an auction house is a bit better reaches more people but I also lose money in the process with all the fees. In summary I just want your opinion on basically what would you do. Thanks for all input and opinions.

Jesse
