Default How many posters use URLs in there post

What a value many people are recieving here on the network54 board. Back in the day when I was husband-of-tammy (8 years ago) it was rare to see links taking you away from the board. I used to post a link to view my gallery/collection of cards to educate collectors. Iremember my IT guy formy company showing me how much web traffic it was causing our server.

Now, Im not an expert on how the Enet works. But I do know that having traffic going to and from your site will help you alot and being linked to sites will elp. Plus you become very relevant for the search engine spiders. Im sure a webmaster can explain the matrix to us better.

So, when I see posters that have done over a thousand post and everytime at thebottm of the post it has a link to see his blog, website, gallery, etc... I can only imagine how much traffic they get as it is 8 years later.

Not too mention how dominating it makes this Network54 board having a ton of people link to and from it.

Just an observation as I find myself clicking on more and more links everyday...

I agree JC. And almost daily I have to ask members to tone it down just a little bit. As long as things are done in moderation they are usually ok. I even have to ask advertisers to change banners sometimes. If the banners do too much they give me a headache. I told one of our fave AH's recently that if he didn't get me a new banner I was giving him my bill for aspirin.

Overall the forum is still growing and quite active. So far this month we have had 60+ new members join, which is about average for 2/3 of a month. I realize numbers are tallied different ways but here is Google Analytics for the last 30 days of activity on Net54baseball, as of yesterday...

I think it's when someone only looks at one page.
