The Super Bowl Ring With The Wrong Score
John R. from Pittsburgh sent me an email informing me that 32 years after the Pittsburgh Steelers Superbowl IX rings were produced, it was discovered that the ring contained an incorrect score.
How was it discovered? Would you believe a Super Bowl IX ring was sold on ebay in 2008 and someone who saw the listing finally noticed, and as a result, the story reached the media that year. Thanks John!
