1979 Saturday Night Special Phillies Uniform Found

I recently came across this uniform. I am confused because Hebner never played for the Phillies that year and was with the Mets. He did play on 5-19-79, but it was in a Mets uniform. I'm looking for any information on this uniform. I know they are collectible and Rare since they were only used in 1 game. Thanks!

He was traded to the Mets on March 27th of that year, so it is likely that the special uniforms for the whole (Phillies) team would have already been ordered.

You are correct to assume this is not game worn as Hebner was traded in Spring Training.

There is another # 18 jersey out there. This one game worn by Rudy Meoli

These were sold by the team in a raffle type deal with the money going to charity.

I could have had one back then but I turned it down because it was a coaches uniform.
