Here is something I remember thinking of as just amazing when I pieced it together as a teenager, very pre-internet.
In 1929, one city had four players finish the year batting over .350 with 30+ homeruns. (And for good measure, they nearly repeated this feat the next year.) Without doing a search, take your guesses as to the city (for 5 points) and the players (10 points each). And to score a perfect 50, name the only other .350/30 club member that season. STRANGE BUT TRUE: Of the four 1929 citymates, only one fiinshed in the top 10 of the MVP voting. Wow!
