FYI: last week in Burlington Vermont, there was a home burglary of a LARGE older collection of cards. All baseball. Nothing after 1933 and all the way back in late 1800s/early 1900s. Nothing graded.
There is a sizable reward as the older collector had these for MANY years. He was not into grading so that's why they are raw. If anyone sees something suspicious (large old ungraded collection from Vermont) that has everything in it (T cards, Old Judge, Goudeys, CJs) then please call the Burlington Police Dept at 802-658-2700 ext 0 This has made the local news and police depts. All over New England are aware as it is a large collection. Best estimate is a few hundred thousand in value. Thanks, Mike PS I just noticed someone has a thread on this so if this needs to move to that thread so be it, thanks. Last edited by vthobby; 11-26-2014 at 09:29 AM. |
