4 1920 Chickasha (Western Assn.) pix inc. Chief Poolaw NOW ON eBAY

This group of four original snapshot photos of the 1920 Chickasha Chicks of the Western Association includes the only image I have ever seen of Edward Moses "Chief" Poolaw, a full-blooded Kiowa who played his entire career in the Class D Western Assn., 1920-26. hayes f and b.jpg Group also includes a single pose of catcher-manager Leslie "Drap" Hayes, a group picture of three outfielders including Vic Ruedy, Eddie Neusal and Ned Pettigrew, who played for the Buffalo Federal League team in 1914. IMG_0004.jpg The fourth photo is a group shot of four Chicks pitchers: Lefty Lewis, Dan Payne, Lou Kraft and Lefty Miller. IMG_0005.jpg Pictures are all about 3" x 4-1/4" or slightly larger and show evidence of having been in an album or scrapbook. Player ID are written on back, presumably by the original photographer. $200 postpaid. Feel free to email or IM any questions.
