I haven't bought a ton of graded cards but I just bought a 1934 Diamond Stars card off ebay graded 4 vg/ex - with no qualifiers. When I got the card in the mail the other day I noticed it had writing on the front! It had "ss" written in light pencil - quite obvious in person.
Can a card with writing on it get a decent grade like 4 with no MK qualifier or did they just miss it? There's no frosting on the case or anything that looks tampered with - and it's just a common anyway. And without the writing the card is still a 4. Are they really that careless or am I just ignorant? Of course, I missed the writing too and that's on me, but I just ASSumed...... |
