1944-48 H&B Andy Pafko Game Used Bat - Cubs, Dodgers, Braves
Andy Pafko Game Used Bat Hillerich & Bradsby pre-model bat, circa 1944-48 is un-cracked and displays evidence of excellent use. Several ball marks and stitch impressions can be seen on all sides of the barrel. Slight checking (grain swelling) can be seen on the right, left and back barrel from repeated ball contact. Cleat impressions are visible on the back barrel. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle and the lower handle has a spiral tape application to enhance the grip. There is a small chip in the knob. A nice Cubs bat of this former 'All Star', who enjoyed a productive 17 year Major League career. $895 shipped.
