I recently purchased the AJ Reach Company Meeting Book from ebay. The book is one of kind piece that may never have been seen to public before.
The book seems to have been written almost entirely by Ben Shibe and features his signature on almost every page with 130 fully hand written pages. The book is very detailed and It starts in 1888 with the details of incorporating the AJ Reach Company including the preamble and by-laws. It shows how the Spalding company took over control of the company owning 99% of the stock by about 1892. I couldn't find any examples of an item like this ever being offered for sale. The last meeting minutes in the book are in 1906.
Pages are in tact, and what I consider to be good shape considering this book is 100+ years old. Please note the binding cover is worn and falling apart slowly, but the binding itself is still strong and no pages are falling out.
It is on a notebook from Corlies, Macy & Co. Stationeers
