Default Cards that are printed in the border

I just picked up a E92 Oakes and noticed that his glove was printed into the border. After doing a little looking I realized they where all printed like this. I was wandering if there where other cards printed on the border on purpose? If so, show them.

Texxxx,

Those in the know realize that many of your cards are printed

I have a similar Rhoades for sale in the BST, just a little more fuzzy. Cool card

I don't know about any other intentional ones off-hand, but once I saw that Oakes I had to get it. Great card

Here are more with printing in the border, mostly the Tenney, which is one of my favorite cards. I have another to scan, might do it now if I can, something I've only seen a few times on a t206

I believe it was Wonka that posted one of these before and I said, oh snap! I gotta go one of those. Took a long time and when I finally did get one, it was just in with a large lot of cards that I purchased. I definitely would have paid extra for one. Who else has a card with part of the caption colored in?

I might be wrong but I think Texxx means cards that the picture is designed to cross over the border and not one that does it due to a color shift printing error.

Default Rhoades and Oakes

Here is another Stahl hnds hd high with registration errors. For whatever reason I have seen this card with a color shift more often than an average t206.

I do not believe that you can differentiate intent between the caramel Oakes image and the T206 Rhoades arm extends. In both cases I believe the artist's intent was to create a 3-d effect. I have seen the Oakes card where the glove is just short of the border. You can find Rhoades without either his right ear or right hand adjacent to a border, but it is uncommon. I think the 33 Gehrig is more an example of a common printing error... as the ones I have seen where the bat extends past the border do not have a continuation of full color past the border, rather only a yellow strip is visible, like in the Stahl example.

Gordon's bat extends into Philley's border.
Stephen's bat does likewise with Fannin.

Several of the N321 S. F. Hess California League cards feature portions of the image extending into the border.

Not baseball or vintage, but I've always noticed this one (not my card):

Wow. Those are really cool. Looks like Gordon's bat may go into the card above it on the sheet too?
