Default New Member in Texas Intro

Evening all. Just wanted to stop in an introduce myself. Finally signed up after browsing for a bit.

My name is Kevin and I live in East Texas. Lifelong Cardinal fan and collector. Back in the late 80s and early 90s I got tired of the mass produced stuff and started buying vintage (60s and 70s) Cardinals cards trying to put together team sets. Life got in the way (marriage, child, career) and I lost interest but held on to everything.

I got back into the hobby when the Texans joined the NFL and focused on football for the last 10 or so years. I went to an estate sale locally and purchased a collection of vintage cards and autos and it rekindled my love for older cards. I made my money back by selling a handful of cards and still have about 98% of the cards and a Mantle autographed 8x10 from the 60s. Now I am ready to get back into everything full-swing. And I am happy to have found this forum.

Looking forward to collecting with you.

Kevin
