FS: Vintage George Magerkurth signed 8x10

For Sale:

Engaging 8” x 10” image picturing former Reds all-star infielder Lew Riggs & former N.L. umpire George Magerkurth. What makes the photo special is Magerkurth has signed and inscribed to Lew: “To one of the best in the league G.L. Magerkurth”. Magerkurth is also famous for being behind the plate for Babe Ruth’s famous “called shot” home run during the 1932 World Series at Wrigley Field. This photo originates from Lew’s estate / personal collection and is in excellent condition.
