I figure everyone is going to jump on this autograph soon if not now. This one is from the Manny Mota foundation and was hoping for feedback on this. I had a guy who has one authenticated by global authentics but the numbers came up with nothing on their site. The guy said he just got it authenticated and it takes 2 to 4 weeks for them to post. Is he right.

Looks a little shaky, but close. I see he is doing his first (and Only) show this year. Price is crazy.

why would you want to buy this guy at the height of his blowing up? he was going for $20-$25 a week ago, and if you wait a few months you can most likely pick it up for half of what it's going for...if not less.

Why does the price go up for a signature on a larger item? That makes no sense to me.

FYI, current Global certs are worth about as much as ones from my Uncle Joe. Most collectors I know look at an item with a Global COA and think "I guess it didn't pass JSA or PSA."

What business is that of the promoter or athlete? Is it a strain to autograph a regulation size helmet compared to a mini-helmet?

Seems to me like it's more of the same mentality that leads to higher prices for third-party-authenticating of certain players' signatures. The work is not necessarily harder, but for better or worse, they base the fee on the value of the final product. So it's more like a value-added fee than a fee-for-services?
