Just In..Autograph Reference Guide Wins "Book of the Year" Award
Just read that Ron Keurajian's book "Baseball Hall of Fame Autographs ..A Reference Guide" has been awarded the 2013 SABR research book of the year award. Congratulations Ron.
Keurajian, Krabbenhoft, "Baseball Pioneers" win 2013 SABR Baseball Research Awards The 2013 SABR Baseball Research Awards, which honor outstanding research projects completed during the preceding calendar year which have significantly expanded our knowledge or understanding of baseball, have been awarded to: Ron Keurajian, for the research he did to prepare his book, Baseball Hall of Fame Autographs: A Reference Guide, published by McFarland & Co. Herm Krabbenhoft for the research he did for his project, The Accurate RBI Records for Lou Gehrig, Hank Greenberg, and Babe Ruth, published in the Baseball Research Journal Peter Morris, William J. Ryczek, Jan Finkel, Leonard Levin and Richard Malatzky, for the research they did to prepare their book, Base Ball Pioneers, 1850-1870: The Clubs and Players Who Spread the Sport Nationwide, published by McFarland & Co. ____________________ jim@stinsonsports.com
