This topic pertains primarily to Rookie Card collectors such as myself.
I will use Fred Lindstrom as an example. Would you prefer to have his 1925-31 W590 card as your Rookie Card representation for him or would you rather have his 1926 Exhibit card which can be pinpointed to one year and that year is just after the earliest possible W590 issue date of 1925? I may be the only one who adopts this approach, but if the first year in the range is the actual year of a player's major league debut I go with that. Otherwise I go with the earliest pinpointed card.
