Looking for some help with this one...
I just acquired a vintage Football which is quite nice, but has been re-laced. The ball remains in great shape, and has the expected amount of toning and wear... pretty light usage for it's 70+ years of age. It's a nice vintage example, but has been re-laced with stark white brand new laces. I would like to find vintage laces that will blend better with the ball. I believe I can find vintage laces without too much trouble (although if anyone here can assist, it would be much appreciated). My real question is... How difficult is it to re-lace a football? Is this something anyone can do, or must it be left to a professional? If it's tricky, I would be happy to pay someone here for their time to do it. Any tips/advice is most welcomed... thanks! |

Perezfan I re-laced this eight piece football and it's not that hard. PM me and I can give you some pointers on how to do it. D.
