Default first t206

Just bought my first t206 card today. Doc White, sweet caporal, throwing and psa graded 2.

I have been saving up to buy a ty cobb t206. any advice or tips as i start my search. I can probably only go to a psa graded 2 for it.

Also, this is my first post so i just want to say hello to all.

yes. be patient. See a lot of cards - notice how one Cobb (or any card) graded a 2 can look a lot different that another Cobb (or any card) graded a 2. See what flaws you're okay with and which ones you want to avoid.

good luck!

I have a 1.5 (bat on) a 2 (bat off) and a Auth (green) and all three look nice. My red is probably a legit 3. The most I paid for any was $700. Patience is the key.

Welcome to the site, and welcome to the addiction as well

I'm only 40 cards deep into my t206 set and the guys who posted before me are all right .... patience is key here. And any certain card you are looking for is prone to pop up anywhere. It could be on ebay, could be in the net54 b/s/t section ..... it might just come at you in a pm or a card show. Wherever it comes from, buy what you want at the price you want.

As long as it meets your money and condition criteria, there is no "bad" place to acquire a card for your set.
