Okay, let's get this started

Fantastic display Scott. Thanks for posting it and being a good sport about the new forum. I hope your doggies foot gets better too. I hate to say this but I like animals, especially dogs, more than some people.

Unfortunately, the period I collect precludes actual MLB game-used, due to affordability. Would love to see some pre-WWI MLB game-used. My dog survived the lost toenail this week and goes in for cancer surgery next week. Another rough summer for her, but she's hanging in.

Thanks, guys. I recently completed an article about the season in the scorebook, which should be published sometime this year. When it's done I'll post a link.

This is not a beautiful bat, but it might be from the pre-war era that you desire: it has side-writing (very obscure) that indicates that the bat was used by Larry Doyle AND Davy Robertson. Since they played on the same team only before the Great War, it would seem that they used the bat during that era. |

Cool!
Here's an early Bain photo of Doyle from my collection.

I have an old bat with a leather wound handle which I believe is in the 1875 Ward B Snyder catalog. Is this rare?

Don't know if MLB used but here's an obscure label. Side written "Cleveland", it's a Wagner Model.
