Default Please say another prayer for one of our own, Barry S.
I know there has been horrific tragedy today and our hearts are all out for those in CT, but I received a call a little earlier today that Barry Sloate lost his dad last night. I believe his dad had not been in good health for a while but I am sure it's still a difficult time for Barry and family. He will be away from the board for a little while. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. My condolences go out to Barry, Judy and family.

To hear of your loss leaves an emptiness in my heart for you....you are one of our hobby greats, and true veteran, that we all look up to, and an intergral part of our community.......even having you absent from the board for a short while we miss great input....

I remember philosopher Sam Keen saying at the death of his own father that
he now realized that there were no more giants in the world.
I felt this at the loss of my own father and know some of the pain that you

I bought many T206s from Barry years ago in my early teens, and no doubt my questions about the centering on this or that card were a huge pain in the ass, but Barry was always classy and encouraging when he didn't have to be.

Barry, my condolences to you and your family. Your father raised a son to be proud of!
