Very popular 1922 book "The Science of Baseball" by Byrd Douglas. Instructional book written by a college coach, has tips on how to play positions/conduct yourself on the field, baseball terminology, ec.
38 photos, inc.l Ruth, Gehrig, Matty, etc, showing their positioning, swings, etc. Plus, intros by both Wilbert Robinson and John McGraw. GREAT Early baseball volume for you. CONDITION: Cover is a bit faded, but decent, water staining on page corners/ random spotting, etc, OVERALL. a solid reading copy for a 90 year old volume. Book is SOLD. THX. Scott.
