I really appreciate the expert advice of the members on this forum especially Jim. Another question if thats ok, I am looking to purchace a few baseballs from someone and I have a tough time with Ted Williams autos and I'v never owned a Billy Martin. Thank you for all your help.

Its just an opinion but they both look the way they are supposed to look , one thing to think about is that Williams tended to lean toward the left of the sweet spot when signing a ball which he did with his RIGHT hand. Did you know that Ted was a NATURAL right hander ? He did everything right handed except hit. So the greatest left handed hitter of all time was a NATURAL rightie. When they asked Williams why that was so he said he did not have a clue. he said the first time he ever picked up a bat and swung at a ball was from a left handed stance.

Jim, I always assumed he signed with his left hand and even when getting in person autos from him I guess I just didn't pay attention. Of course, it was easy to do when standing before a larger than life individual. Dug up this old photo and sure enough...
