My brother once again comes through for me...calls me up from the antique store and asks me if I'm interested in a 1925 American League Baseball in the box with signatures on it. He named a few signatures and I knew it was a Lincoln ball...of course I told him to grab it.
I believe this ball is from 1930...most all of the names match up to the SABR site...there are a lot of question marks on that page, but this ball would seem to confirm most of those names. Best name on the ball is Les Nunamaker which I am absolutely thrilled to have his auto. The ball appears to have been owned by Bob Roland a member of the team as "Bob R." is written on the outside of the box. http://www.baseball-reference.com/mi...gi?id=5461a85c ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
