The OP was being facetious, no? Rather, how about renaming the forum to Donruss92?

The OP has a habit of blaming the "board", which is an inanimate object at best, for lots of stuff. In the HOF thread he blames the board for liking or disliking the Yankees. Maybe I get tired of hearing the same ole crap, no?

How can Mckee give you problems...He can't even see past his trousers that are over his eyes

I probably shouldn't have commented on the original post as I knew it was tongue in cheek but sometimes those things happen

Scott,

I'm hearing you. Sometimes I find it a bit overkill with all the T206 related
posts. Yes, T206 is a popular set, but if one has visited the board for any
length of time, you'll observe at least 2-3 daily posts of T206 realted topics.
I for one bypass every T206 post as my small way to protest these
rather ridiciulous messages.

Back on December 31st, a poll was posted "Should T206 have its own BST
section?" Over 50% said yes. THESE RESULTS SPEAKS VOLUMES. I'll take
this a step further, I say create a whole new fourm where you can post
anything T206 related. Maybe for the rest of us non-T206-ers we could
finally get some blessed relief!

Mike,

McKee is just mad because SGC gives me NMMT on every card I submit and they give him VG at best. In fact if Dan buys a NM card by law SGC has to re label the card VG. It's a hobby law that was passed ages ago.

Cheers,

John

P.S. We still need to get together now that I'm back in action and the holidays are over.

VG????????????????

I would have killed to have those OJ's graded VG that were NM.

They slabbed them 1's

I sell them raw and people are writing me and telling me they are getting 3's and 4's on them.

No more submissions with "Mckee" on the form.

I will create an alias!

Maybe I will get luckey if I submit them under "Lucky"?

can't see my feet any more? Do I still have feet?

Since I am bashing people in this thread, can someone tell me how to put my name under my user ID so that I am not anonymous?

Hey Leon,

With several new T206 dedicated websites and board members working on sheet arrangements, subsets and the printing process the amount of T206 threads may even be increasing.

However several of these do not necessarily need to be front page material. I have several project and topics I would like to share and discuss but they are about minute details that are important to only a select few, it would be nice to have sort of a T206 chat/projects section where we can post these oddities and questions without annoying every other collector out there. Then any major updates or questions still hit the main board.

Default T206 Takeover hasn’t even begun watch out Net54.

I don’t think we have even begun to hit all the great topics that can be discussed when it comes to T206.

For example I have yet to post my T206 themed recipes which I’m sure will be a big hit with most. I’m also sure there will be some folks who claim they have been making these dishes since the 80’s, there will be other folks who claim I stole these recipes and didn’t give credit also.

For the record www.t206resource.com has declined to add my recipes to their website I think it’s because Jim & Tim are vegans and don’t eat meat.

It does appear that John is sort of a 'Brat'

I am biased toward color pre-wwi cards, so I think all the collectors of those ugly exhibits and b&w 1920's cards should have their own forum, so us color litho collectors (you, know, the 'good' stuff), don't have to wade through all the useless discussions on ugly cards that very few even care about.

Thoughts?

You know I want to help the board and it's members as much as I can. My thought is that those intricate discussions can take place on this main page. It's up to each member if they want to read a thread or not. The fact that a lot of our members are into the T206's means those threads should be welcomed by most. I don't particularly collect T206 but those discussions don't bother me. If they did I wouldn't click on the threads. At this point I don't believe splitting the board into more pieces is a good idea. As I said before, unless it's an overwhelming benefit I don't like change too much. I always listen to thoughts though....

Sounds good, I'm also not a fan of change when things are working. I can live with the odd T206 complaint thread from time to time.

Thanks for listening.

I'm not into T206s, except for WaJo cards and type cards (1 of each ad back). However, I read each of the T206 threads, and I have tremendously enjoyed learning so much about this set from the many knowledgable T206-collecting Ner54ers.

Unlike Scott, I am one of those (few?) collectors who prefer the "ugly" b&w, real-photo cards to the colorful, artist-rendition cards!

My comments were mostly in jest. I have owned plenty of b&w cards and I much preferred them to color non-photo when I first got into vintage.

Wonka, I have my grandmothers Tyrus Cobb Salad recipe you can use, but I would want "Grandma B Collection" on the slab.

I understand that this salad can be made with a rich creamy ranch dressing or a light vinaigrette - commonly referred to as Fat On or Fat Off.

Yea yea I know. Pretty bad.

I'd probably end up as Cliff.
I once told a friend that I thought everyone thought of me as a combination of Cliff and homer simpson. He didn't deny it all that much.
