I can't find a decent answer anywhere, so I thought I would come to the experts for help. I apologize if boxing isn't supposed to be a 54 topic. I am just a casual reader/poster, and don't know if other sports are typically talked about.
My question is about 1938 Cartledge Razor Famous Prize Fighters cards. There are two finishes, Matte and Glossy. Population reports tend to tell me that the Glossy finish was released at a rate of around 20% of the more common Matte finish. Am I right? And then a value question. What premium do the Glossy finish cards bring, if any? I picked up a Glossy Schmeling PSA 8 recently. SMR is $80, but I am assuming that SMR only prices the Matte finish. Thanks for any help! John |
