Greetings,
OK, I am overwhelmed by https://www.theconloncollection.com/. I am interested in one or two of the Silver images. There are too many though to sort through! Image overload. Over time hopefully the site developers will provide some tools for finding images (recommendations, lists, most popular, etc.). But for now, perhaps I could get some help the old-fashioned way - from people! Just about all my favorite images are Platinum, but I can't justify spending $1,000 for one (albeit gorgeous) image. If the Platinum were available in Silver it would be easy. Let's assume not. What are your favorite images from the collection? I have a very strong bias towards known players (HOFers eg). I like the action images or the images that show a player within the stadium. But I also like some of the portraits. I do have a bias towards the NY teams and McGraw, Matty, Ruth, as well as Wagner, Johnson, etc. I like the iconic. So, what do you feel are the most iconic images here? Any recommendations? Personal favorites? My favorite image by the way is Wagner gripping the bat. Love that one and I love the abstraction. Just out of my price range. All help is most appreciated! Eric |

Eric, there are several 'iconic' images available in $99 or $149 silver gels. A few examples. Check out the Conlon coffee table book - most of those are available, many in silver gels at the lower prices.
Baker batting Rhoades (T206) McGraw portrait McGraw at first Jennings (T206) Crawford batting Mathewson pitching - not iconic, but great shots

Thanks Scott! I'll check those out. And I just ordered the Conlon book but won't have it until Monday so trying to jump on this before the sale ends.
Just looked at "McGraw at First" - perfect match for one of my favorite T206s - the one sitting in front of me now! http://www.theconloncollection.com/john-mcgraw-8.html By the way, love your site - really enjoy the articles as well as the images matched to the T206s. Thanks! Eric Last edited by Ericc22; 12-13-2011 at 10:58 PM. Reason: added a link |

Oh - funny! Maybe that is one more to add to your T206 origin section! Thanks again Scott!

Meanwhile, it would be great to maintain a list of T206 images available on the Conlon site. If anyone spots additional ones, please let me know and I'll update this list: * - platinum only
