Considering how extremely tough these are, I just wanted to make sure all you E107 guys were aware that the Huggins & Scott auction ending September 28th and 29th, 2011 features six, count 'em, SIX, E107's, including the following:
(1) Chief Bender, PSA 1; (2) Rube Waddell, PSA 1.5; (3) Socks Seybold, PSA 1.5; (4) Danny Murphy, PSA 1.5; (5) Lew Drill, PSA 1.5; and (6) Harry Davis, PSA 1. Check 'em out at www.hugginsandscott.com. Hope that any of you fellow net54'ers that collect and need any of these cards are successful bidders! Best always, Larry |

Are they your consignment or something? Outing the auction in two separate threads certainly makes it seem that way.
I think it is pretty safe to say that any E107 collectors are aware of them. I know I've been aware of them since H&S advertised them back in late July and showed them off at the National show in early August. Last edited by terjung; 09-19-2011 at 06:13 PM. |

No, they're not mine. I've so seldom seen that many E107's in a single auction that I just wanted to make sure those that collect them here were aware of them. I wasn't, until I just recently received my hard copy auction catalogue. Sorry if I offended anyone here by thinking they might not be aware. And while some might not care for the condition, as a HOF collector that favors the truly rare, I'd love to have the Waddell. With as few as there are that exist, it might be a long time before another one comes along. If you're waiting for VG-Ex, or something like that, it's most likely not going to happen. It's just not the right time for me to enter the bidding fray, though. Would that I could. Best of luck to any of us here that go after one or more.
Happy collecting, Larry Last edited by ls7plus; 09-19-2011 at 08:49 PM. |

Larry
Thanks for the heads up on the E107's. I think Jeff was kidding.

These cards were recently discovered at a tiny auction in Pennsylvania and consigned to us.
