Not vintage, but I'm really happy about todays pick up...
I've been collecting game used items from the career of Josh Phelps for almost 10 years now and today was just great for my collection. Josh just got back from spending the summer playing for Telemarket Rimini in the Italian Baseball League. I got a chance to meet Josh a few years ago when he was rehabbing with the Connecticut Defenders (Giants farm team). Great guy and our families got to be friendly when he played for the Independant Bridgeport Bluefish last year. Anyway, he played for the Yankees in 2007 and after seeing my collection he shared they never let him keep anything when he was released...I told him I would trade him one of his Yankee jerseys (game-issued) if he'd hook me up. Well, got the following back from Josh today after sending him his Yankee Home Jersey (Issued) and Pants (Used) last week...
       The Indians jersey is a 2004 Away. The Black BP and Orange Home are from his 2011 season in the Italian League playing for Telemarket Rimini. I am a happy guy...thanks for checking out this rambling post!
