I have been reading these boards for awhile and I was wondering, since among the posters here you seem to know about everything that has been produced sportswise, if you might be able to help identify some of these items (plus a couple of items I think are interesting. There are both baseball and football items among these so I apologize if i am posting these in the wrong place. I picked these up in the early 80's at some postcard dealer set up at a flea market and thought they were interesting with their sports themes. The first are 4 woven items of different colleges with different sports shown on the front. The columbia one shows baseball:

I don't know if it is really old or if it might be a Standford product or part of a set: ![]() ![]() The next is a picture of a baseball player that I don't recognize and no name is mentioned on the card: ![]() ![]() The last 2 I thought were interesting because one shows Cooperstown and the other a baseball game: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I also found a bunch of old postcards of football stadiums. I am especially interested in the college items and the baseball player. If anyone has any information on any of these items I would appreciate. Thank-you for taking the time to look at these. I enjoy reading everyones posts on prewar cards and hope to continue to learn from the information that is posted here. Jim |

I don't know a lot about them except that the only one that is probably somewhat valuable is the single player one, which looks like McGraw. Maybe others that know these more will help out...

The University stuff looks a lot like Murads work, especially the silks, from 1910.

I think the first 4 are B33 Flannels "College Athlete Pennant & Seal". I believe they are from around 1908/10 era.

The single player postcard is 1907-1917, made by Velox. Looks like maybe a Boston Braves hat. I don't know anything at all about the Boston Braves players but might guess Herbie Moran?
If it's not Moran, and nobody else has a better guess, at least you can start with those years and maybe the Braves. |

The Rangley postcard is from a town about 50 miles from me here in Maine. It's a outdoor sportsman mecca in the area.
