I would love to see what you own or anything you want to sell. I have all of his topps and bowman regular issue cards from 51-65 PSA graded (5-6 with some 7s, pretty much whatever fit my personal grading criteria) and am working on harder regional/food issues. I do have quite a few game used, one patch, one glove card and a bat barrel. I also have a lot of newer numbered inserts and parallels. I would like to see what anyone else has. Thanks
I am also always looking to buy. |

Not for sale but here is the earliest Fox individual Major League collectible, a 1949 Philadelphia Team Issue Photo (I have since had the BGS holder changed to "Athletics Team Issue").........

![]() ![]() Well, Phil, gotta go ahead and disagree with you there. Here's a 1949 Philadelphia Bulletin rookie. Per the Standard Catalog: “Each Sunday between May 22 and July 24, 1949, the “Fun Book” rotogravure section of the Bulletin included a page of (usually) six baseball cards of the hometeam A’s and Phillies...” So this definitively dates to some time in the early part of the 1949 baseball season. And yes, there was an Ashburn rookie too: ![]()

383Astro - I too collect cards & memorabilia of Nellie Fox.
He lived about a half hour away from me. Last year I went to his home town of St Thomas PA and checked out his house & bowling alley which is still in operation. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Robin Roberts can be added to that list of 1949 Philadelphia Bulletins as well, although both Ashburn and Roberts had Philadelphia Bulletin issues in 1948 so I guess the 1949's aren't Rookies after all..............1949 Fox is

I've got a pretty unique '51 Bowman Fox rookie... well, most of it.
'51 Bowman printers scrap that has not only Fox but also Ted Williams. Sorry my photos are terrible, but the color on these is VERY vibrant and it's in wonderful shape (apart from the obvious). ![]() ![]() ![]() |
