SOLD - - - FS: 1949 Bowman - Jackie Robinson - PSA 8
When I was looking to purchase a 49 Robby - I looked for while for a card with 'perfect registration'. Many 1949 Bowman Robby's have slight (or worse) bad registration / you would be able to see white on one side of Jackie's face and a hard dark line on the other side (or the color was out somewhere else). But - not on this card.
The registration is beautiful. The coloring is beautiful. And... it is a PSA 8 (great corners / centering). edit: sold Please feel free to PM or email me with any questions. joe@internetville.com   Thanks for looking.

Pete,
You might want to think long and hard before chiming in on someone else's sales thread. It's bad form. Furthermore, the sale you cite appears to have been for a card that doesn't have anywhere near as nice registration. (Buy the card, not the holder.) Or maybe Joe would rather keep the card than sell it for less. Beautiful card, Joe. A real stunner! Ken Cohen

I will drop the price this one last time - edit: sold Some recent price history for 49 Bowman PSA 8 Robby's - - - A recent eBay auction went for $2325, then there was the November auction mentioned in this thread that went for $1900 (very blurry image - can't tell if it was a quality card image), auction before that was in August of last year and went for $2650, auction before that in February of last year went for $2577. The card I am offering is as nice a PSA 8 as you will find. edit: sold

Jebus, that is a beautiful second card of Robby, shame it's not his rookie card.
