| PSA to SGC crossover question

I have one card in a PSA holder that Im considering crossing over into an SGC holder. SGC states that "the minimum grade for a crossover must be equal or less than the original grade. SGC will not accept crossover with a higher minimum grade" That's fine by me, I cant argue with the logic there at all. The kicker is that the PSA card is graded at 4.5, which I believe has no direct equivalent in SGC. Would SGC's position be that I can state my minimum grade at no higher than 50 (PSA 4)? I'd be delighted to let it transfer at a 60, but I'd really have to dwell on it a bit longer at a 50. Thanks for the insights. |
