January Pick-ups
Added these two beauties to my collection—Kansas and Ambers—from the 1936 La Salle Hats set.

Added two more—and probably the last for a while, unless someone puts some up for sale (fingers crossed)—La Salle Hats.

Those La Salle Hats are sweet!
Picked up this picture from a Los Angeles boxing match in the 1930s of some of the boxing fraternity gathered for the evening. Standing L to R: Dan Toby, Bud Taylor (HOF), Jackie Fields (HOF), George Raft (actor), Ceferino Garcia, Ace Hudkins, Pat O'Brien (actor), James J. Braddock (HOF), unk, unk, Jack Root (HOF), Al McCoy, Tommy Ryan, unk. Kneeling L to R: Fidel La Barba, Jimmy McLarnin (HOF), Joe Rivers, Willie Ritchie, Gorilla Jones (HOF), Billy Coe.  Also got this one: 1937 Veteran Boxers Association of Illinois presentation photo inscribed to HOF sportswriter Grantland Rice.
