Book P/U - The Real Babe Ruth By Dan Daniel - Is This Rare?
 http://s213.photobucket.com/albums/c...948/?start=all This last Sunday I picked up this softbound book on Ruth in an antique store. It's copyrighted 1948...Is this a rare book? I don't recall seeing it before. I think the cover is dynamite, and it's got a ton of photos. You can see a small fraction of them in the link above. Dan Daniel was a popular sports writer who is in the Baseball Hall of Fame. He was friends with Ruth so it's bound to be slanted to show him in the best light...nevertheless as a top N.Y.C. sports writer he Daniel may have had access to a lot of photos that weren't readily available to other writers of Ruth books.
