Bob Lemke has blogged recently on this set and features input from some members here; checklist changes are in the works:

A question comes to mind-The lineup on the Frank Robinson Orioles cap version-does it exist with another player atop it or was it a new lineup jst for the new pose? Just wondering as it certainly seems to clinch that the set was reprinted and reissued in the "long" cello packs. I have to wonder of the three picture variations represent pulled punchouts that are now known as single prints. I also have to think many of the 14 single prints replaced other single prints from the first run of issuance but there could be an alternate explanation.
Now, why are there quadruple prints?! Six quads exist-if each of the three pose variations first issued cards were double prints, maybe the quads took over for each appearance of the three (3 x 2 lineups=6).
Interestingly, the Matty Alou and Roberto Clemente pose variations, like F. Robby, all exist with three lineups for each player (not each pose but overall). Crazy set.
