1910 Chicago Cubs Calendar Premium
I purchased this piece from a fellow board member a few years back but am selling it because it just doesn't fit with what I am collecting. This 10" x 14" premium features the 1910 Chicago Cubs players surrounding an April-October calendar schedule of their upcoming season. The piece features 20 individual portrait photos including Mordecai Brown, Evers, Tinker, and Chance. It says "Compliments of the Chicago Examiner - Monarch of the Dailies" at the bottom. It is printed on a heavy paper stock.
I've seen these go as high as 900.00 but this one is obviously at the low end condition wise. There is a good size chunk missing from the bottom right corner and other tears/creases. Still displays well for a 100 year old piece of baseball history! I'll start the bidding at $100.00 (less than I paid). Increments of $5.00. Auction ends Sunday 12/19/10 at 10PM EST.
