on a most bizarre no-no I've seen in awhile. But it does make one wonder, 4 nearly 5 no-no/perf before the all-star break... they (batters) must be off the juice

Interesting that he walked 8 and threw 149 pitches. That's the most pitches anyone has thrown in a ML game in over 5 years. Hope his arm is ok.

I honestly think the recent implementation of pitch counts has more to do with it. Pitchers are stronger and more rested. But, as I say that he threw 149 last night so, I'm probably wrong.
