It works fine for me.

At the risk of taking a jab at you, I question the wisdom of posting a video of your son, acting as a prop in your quest.

Really don't mean to be harsh, but the internet is a weird place. Any video of my kids would only be visible to my friends, not to this motley crew!

He isnt a "prop" in any "quest". As far as posting a video of my son on youtube, there are about 10 million "kid" videos there already. I just thought that the video was cute, the subject matter also cute, and nobody can deny that my son is very cute!

Chicago - no doubt your son is very cute. I don't think JimVB was trying to be mean at all....just careful. Generally speaking there is 0 tolerance in speaking about others' family members but you are always welcome to bring your own family up....You do have some very good thoughts but it's all the other stuff that gets you sideways with our members.

I am a collector but I buy and sell also. There are a ton of members that do that. It's just the way you present things, I guess, that rubs people the wrong way. I don't think you are a mean guy but maybe just a bit young (compared to us old hoots). If I could offer any friendly advice it would be to relax a little and don't always, always talk about the money aspect of the hobby. We all know it's there (especially my wife) but most of us are collectors and come here to collect with our friends. ..No matter how nice of a collection you have or how much money you can spend, someone will always have more. Be proud of what you have and not what you spend. That's my half cent.

...Your son really is cute.....

Default Given how people view you on Net54

....I find it utterly shocking that you would post videos of your child. Out of respect for your kid, I won't watch it.

10 million videos of people's kids on youtube. Among the most popular category on the entire website. I find it shocking that you are so sheltered and private.

People here really dislike you, dude. Not sure why you want to give them more potential targets.

Default Cute kid!

Chicago - Based on how people have reacted to your posts (which Ive tried to keep up with, considering all the excitement theyve caused), I can only assume you sacrifice puppies, or are a minion of the Devil, and you just happen to collect cards. You ARE very outspoken about your stance on things, but that isnt necessarily a bad thing. I surely havent seen a reason for the torch and pitchfork attitudes people seem to take toward EVERYTHING you say.

All I'm saying in this post is that if you agree that there is a "torch and pitchfork" attitude towards a person -- putting aside entirely for the moment whether or not it is justified -- why would you drag your kid into it?

Maybe cutting Chicago some slack, and giving him a chance to make a completely non-confrontational post wouldnt be the worst thing in the world. There seemed to be no negativity intended by the post he made, he seemed to just be showing off the fact that he and his kid are able to enjoy this hobby together, regardless of how anyone views his opinions on the subject. Maybe Im worng, but I always try to find the postive in things/people. Hard to do in this world, I know, but I'll give it a shot.

....and THATS why the neverending bickering continues here. No one will let the crap go, so it continues to be a "yuh-huh/nuh-uh" argument. And with that, Im done making my case. I obviously cant persuade EVERYONE to see things the way I do, nor should they. I just wanted to try to show the other side of the argument. Feel free to disagree. Thats one of the wonderful things about America..we have the freedom to say what we want, without fear. GOD BLESS THE USA!

Perhaps you are the one with the problem? You seem to be so bitter that you need to follow me around and try to slam me in any thread I participate in. I wonder why you feel that way?

Probably making up for my collecting inadequacies.

No idea why you do it, but its clear that you do. If I aggravate you THAT much, why even respond to any of my posts anymore? Or do you just like to have a punching bag handy for when you arent happy with your own situation?
