Here are a couple of cards that I had signed by Mr.Feller and a picture of Mr.Feller & I during one of two signing sessions that he did at my store back in 1994. Its one of my fondest memories sitting and talking baseball with him. He told me some great baseball stories.

Hard to believe this card is over 70 years old
How many other players from the '30's are still with us? |

Not sure what the writer was smoking when he wrote the text for the back of his '38 Goudey.

"met" him at a signing in Cooperstown and struck me as the type of guy who you'd want as a grandfather. very engaging.
My cousin Gene counted him as one of the toughest pitchers he ever had to face - which puts Gene in very non-exclusive company! ![]()

I remember a funny story at a show in CT years back. A dealer friend of mine said " I Have a rare Bob Feller picture". I was curious, so I went to his table, and it was a standard 8x10 glossy. Im like "why is it so rare". My friend replied. ..
"its NOT signed by Feller" ![]() He signed everything, but aside, he certainly is an all time great, and from what you guys have said, is mainly an engaging gentleman. |

One of my favorite players. I'm too young to have seen him play but my father took me to see him pitch a home run contest between games of a minor league doubleheader. During the second game he sat in the stands and signed autographs - Yeah, things were very different then. He had a big stack of 8 1/2 x 11 sheets, picture on one side, career highlights on the back.
Many of the kids made paper planes out of their newly found source of paper. When I asked him if that didn't bother him he said something like "they're kids, that's the sort of thing kids do" And he stuck around a couple innings after the requests stopped, so I got to sit with him for a while and he explained some stuff about pitching. |

Wish I could have seen him play. Every one I know who got a chance to see him still thinks he was unhittable. He is a credit to the hobby.

According to a co-worker, Feller celebrated his birthday by signing autographs with both hands at the same time
