RKO Theatres Babe Ruth Premium
Another recent pickup was this RKO Theatres Babe Ruth Premium. At this point, this is the only version I've found with the extra text box on the left side on the back. Besides being just an interesting new find, it also solidifies the identification and dating of the versions without this box. Prior to finding this, it was assumed but not confirmed, that this was issued around 1948 in conjunction with The Babe Ruth Story movie coming out. As the additional text on this one advertises the movie, it is now quite certain.
Anyone ever see any others of these with additional back printing? They typically only have the "Here's What Made Babe Ruth the Greatest of All" box on the back. Mark
