I came on this morning to check a PM I had. I read the Ty Cobb post on the card side and the fascinating story and when the name Billy Evans appeared I thought it was to familiar. I remembered I had a Billy Evans auto in a book from the late 40's early 50's with a bunch of KC Blues players. Can anyone help me verify this auto. The Blues didn't have a Billy Evans nor did the Yankees that I could find. All the other people in the book are Blues players that became Yanks at some point. I also read that he was a pretty famous ump. I also have a few batboy autos in the book so it may not be to far fetched to have the ump. I do appreciate it.
