What a nice fellow., He'll be happy with $600-800 for the Ruth rookie with autograph. His Jeter rookie however, is available for $200 bin.

eBay is a jungle out there for the uninformed, especially when it comes to specialty sections like pre-war cards. I think we sometimes presume people bidding on prewar cards read Net54 or have more than a passing knowledge of the cards but the sad truth is a lot of bidders are generally clueless, even on high price cards.
