Just wanted to say the forum tonight was most enjoyable! On topic for the most part and some great threads. Just wanted to note it as a reminder of what you folks are truly great at. Sometimes it seems to be overly noted when it is a bit negative or there are disagreements and thought it might be nice to recognize the positive. This may to seem to some as a normal night, but thought that maybe even more the need to recognize. Thanks to all! Best Regards!

From one that has enjoyed this hobby on and off since I first flipped Play Ball cards in 1940 ... I agree with your positivity stand.
I'll be one of the first to pat some one on the back when they add something to the hobby. I'll also be one of the first to point out a detractor, or subtractor (my word ![]() I prefer the positivity in the hobby, but if we take the ostrich approach ... history will repeat itself. I found that out in the 1990 Texas national, when I tried to alert dealers about Danny Dupchek AKA Dr Koos. --- He came back to haunt them. Let's applaud the positive, but we can't afford to close our eyes to the negative. Again Damian ... Welcome aboard! ![]() |

Bravo to you Richard, tell me, who initiated the criminal case, was it the comic book people, or the cardboard people? It might have been avoided if they would have banned together at the Texas National in 1990. When I first met Danny at his Fantasia store, I got to see some of his autographed T206's in his case. That was before I found out that he wasn't Kosher. ![]() |
