Satchel Paige Broadside
I picked up this Satchel Paige broadside for the minimum bid in yesterday's Huggins & Scott auction.
http://www.hugginsandscott.com/cgi-b...l?itemid=13738 I'm mostly a card collector, so I don't know a whole lot about this item. But I was really surprised by the price. Is this a typical price for an item like this? Can any of you tell me anything else about this item? I know there are other Paige broadsides that have been reprinted. Have any of you heard of this one being reprinted? Thanks. Paul

It is just that it is a late Negro League piece. After 1945, the value on Negro League material decreases sharply.
