Something a little different. Up for auction is a unique vintage "Strike Em' Out" hanging pitching toy from the mid 1950's. This is what a kid would have hung from a tree to practice pitching into. Some small tears & scratches here or there but still in wonderful condition considering what it was used for. Batter has the NY Yankee's emblem on his jersey & cap. Measures 2' wide x 4' tall.
# Starts at $5 - any increment is ok. # All bids via this thread only. # Auction ends Thursday, 7/30 at 9pm Eastern. # Paypal/MO/personal check are all acceptable. # Shipping included in final price. Thanks, Tony ![]() ![]() edited to correct date of toy...... Last edited by 3-2-count; 07-29-2009 at 05:22 PM. |

**UPDATE** Thanks to a fellow board member, (Hi Mark) who emailed me the following Ebay auction, (see link below) depicting an ad from a magazine showing the item inside. It's actually much older than originally thought. The magazine is dated 1955. Scratch the hanging from a tree scenario though. Looks like it would have been on a free standing bracket of some sort.
