Now that we cannot tell who individual bidders are we also cannot help other collectors with items we may have that they would be interested in. For example I have seen r***r on many of my items of interest and likely have items he/she could use based on what I percieve to be his/her area of interest. However I have no way of letting them know.
Is it within the rules to ask r***r to contact me if they want to or does anybody else have an idea along these lines? If this is out of line simply delete me. I have no problem letting folks know what I have won or lost. Thanks Mark K. Bowers (sealmark) mkbow2@surewest.net |

It is ok to say to email you about something, even in another thread. You shouldn't really be making deals in a thread someone else started...but if you take it to private emails there is no harm....also, you shouldn't interfere with a current transaction either....Hope this helps....please email me if you have a specific issue...or put it out here...doesn't really matter to me....
btw you should be able to PM (private message) anyone that is on the board by just clicking on their name Last edited by Leon; 06-28-2009 at 07:59 PM. |

Leon, I think Mark is talking about other bidders on ebay that often compete with him for the same items.

Not real sure I would know if I'm r***r as my bids would always appear as jacklitsch.

Steve
You wouldn't be r****r, as the ebay name always takes two letters from the bidder's name. You can find out your ebay disguise by logging out of ebay, and viewing one of the auctions you won as a guest. M*x |
